Casino Display System
The CDS is a user friendly stand alone LCD display system
integrating seamlessly with almost all manual, sensored or automatic roulette wheels.
The CDS displays a wide variety of animated statistical and game play
information designed to attract and engage players.
User-updatable graphics, screen layouts and messaging banners reinforce
the casino brand and inform customers of special events and promotions. Live video may be input from a variety of sources and superimposed when required, to show live results or even advertisements when the table is idle.
A new addition to this system is "The Eyeball", a camera-based winning number reader
which provides almost instant number recognition on almost every type of wheel, along with security and wheel-integrity analysis functions.

Fibre-Optic Spectrometer
A range of CCD and PDA spectrometers with fibre-optic inputs covering
the UV, Visible and SWIR bands from 220 nm to 2200 nm. Our electronics can
stream data to a PC via USB2 at over 4000 frames per second, or the onboard
microcontroller and FPGA can be configured to operate as a stand-alone
unit, storing data to flash memory or performing control tasks via
digital, analogue and serial outputs.

Intelligent Strain Gauge Amplifier
Compatible with the National Instruments SCC Chassis, this is a 100x strain
gauge amplifier with solid-state automatic balancing circuitry and
intelligent isolation of broken, shorted or disconnected strain gauges. Avoids microphony in potentiometer-balanced
amplifiers, saturation of data acquisition equipment and overloading of power supplies when a strain gauge
fails during destructive test.

Colour LED Matrix Display
A modular, energy-efficient LED display system, capable of displaying 256 colours at 60 frames per second. Uniquely for LED displays, each frame is completely refreshed at 1 kHz, so that the picture appears solid even when the viewer is moving. Live video may be input through USB, and text may be input through RS232, RS485 or from a PS/2 keyboard. Alternatively, videos stored in Flash memory can be triggered by external inputs. This display is in use at many casinos worldwide.

Casino Chip Sorter
We designed the complete electronic sub-assembly for this product. Using a patented FPGA image processor integrated into our own camera design, this chip sorter is faster, cheaper and more reliable than its PC-based counterparts, as well as consuming far less energy and being available instantly after power-on. Because the image is processed in real-time as the pixels are read from the sensor, our camera is capable of sorting up to 30 objects per second, and can be adapted to other tasks. The firmware adapts to the speed at which the moving objects are presented, and creates the correct synchronisation signals for the image sensor.

Refrigerant Leakage DetectorAn inexpensive, non-invasive ultrasonic sensor for measuring the quality of CFC flow in a variety of refrigeration and air conditioning installations. Our electronics rapidly scans at many frequencies to give a real-time picture of the flash gas activity in the pipes to estimate the level of refrigerant remaining and alert maintenance before a significant amount of damaging CFCs are released, stock is lost, or the system power consumption increases. |
PCI HDTV Video Signal AnalyserA PC-based multi-standard Video Analyser for RGB, YC and Composite sources, aimed at video equipment test and broadcast monitoring applications. The board is a 3-channel, 130 MHz, 14-bit framegrabber with an FPGA providing proprietary sync-detecting logic to adapt to any video standard. Our "virtual instrument" software measures the quality of the picture, sync and colour bursts, and simulates other test equipment such as a vectorscope. |
